  • Re: Obama's Pastor: "God Damn America"

After finally denouncing his pastor for the racial divisive and anti-American comments, Obama also seems to have changed his mind about wearing a U.S. flag lapel pin. In just the last few day's he has been spotted, ''wearing his patriotism on his sleeve''. Maybe the next time he is in public and the National Anthem is played he will change ...

  • Obama's Pastor: "God Damn America"

God damn America? I couldn't believe this when I saw it. Barack Obama's pastor, for more than twenty years, accuses the US government of supplying Americans with drugs and preached the US deserved the 911 attacks, only days after, because of our foreign policies. I was willing to give Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, the benefit ...

  • Barack calls Hillary at 3:00 AM

For those of you who missed it, here is last weeks Saturday Night Live skit with Barack calling Hillary during a crisis at 3:00 am. A spoof on the ads both candidates ran last week in Texas. http://www.redlasso.com/ClipPlayer.aspx?id=bdbbcc2f-7c8f-428f-996b-c8e7f954bbf2 Richard

  • Huckabee's Concession Speech

I was not a huge Huckabee fan, but I must say he is an incredible speaker. Talk about a great orator, Huckabee's concession speech to McCain last night was nothing short of magnificent. Speaking from his heart, without a script, this man raises the bar for those who aspire to be this nations next president and personifies the words ...

  • Re: McCain's Pledge

Many of you who have read my blog and forum post may think that I am a republican. I'm not. I part ways with both the Republicans and the Democrats on a number of issues and am actually registered as unaffiliated. Since the September 11 surprise attacks on our nation, the number one issue for me has been and continues to ...

  • McCain's Pledge

On the issue of illegal immigration,  McCain pledges to secure our borders first and then address how to deal with illegals currently in our country in a way that would not encourage another wave of illegal immigration. That still sounds like amnesty to me, but at least he says he is committed to securing the borders.

  • Vote Romney

I hope that registered republicans realize what is at stake if McCain gets the nomination. A vote for McCain equals a vote of amnesty for illegal immigrants. The following comes from Paul Streitz at CT Citizens for Immigration Control: [YouTube:Y6AJbxZta3k] A book well worth reading is Washington and Benedict Arnold: A Tale of Two ...

  • Illegal Immigration, Sanctuary Cities, Border Security and English only

I'd like to preface this post by saying that I am not prejudice and believe that peoples from other countries should continue to be allowed to emigrate into the US legally. My problem is with the ones who enter our country illegally, seek government benefits and try to bend our culture to accommodate their foreign ways. The U.S. ...
