On the issue of illegal immigration,  McCain pledges to secure our borders first and then address how to deal with illegals currently in our country in a way that would not encourage another wave of illegal immigration. That still sounds like amnesty to me, but at least he says he is committed to securing the borders.

I hope that registered republicans realize what is at stake if McCain gets the nomination. A vote for McCain equals a vote of amnesty for illegal immigrants.
