Absentee Ballots for the November 4, 2008 State Election are available in the Town Clerk’s Office. You may pick up an application or you may request an application be mailed to you by calling 409-4310. Once the application is complete the Town Clerk’s Office will issue a ballot to you personally or by mail.

There will be a debate between the candidates Wed. Oct 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Barkhamsted Elementary School. This is a three way race for the First Selectman seat. So far I've received literature from Republican Rich Winn, Independent George Washington and Democrat Don Stein.
