  • Re: Black Bear Sighting

    Unfortunately, I was charging the battery for my camera today when a large black bear wondered into the yard. I was able to get this shot before my dog chased him off.   Another shot after I got my dog under control and the bear was wondering off. I reported the sighting using the DEP link above. Richard

  • Black Bear Sighting

    I had a black bear wonder through my backyard last week. It was a young bear, maybe two or three years old, but still a sizable animal. The bear didn't have any tags in it's ear.
