PUBLIC NOTICE
ADOPTION OF REVISIONS TO CHAPTER 94 OF THE SIMSBURY CODE OF ORDINANCES: FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION

Pursuant to Section 403 of the Town Charter, on October 10, 2008, the Simsbury Board of Selectmen approved certain revisions to Chapter 94 of the Simsbury Code of Ordinances entitled “Flood Damage Prevention.”

Pursuant to General Statutes §7-157(b), the Board of Selectmen approved the publication of a summary of the changes to Chapter 94.

Summary of Changes: The revisions to Chapter 94 include an amendment to Section 94-4 to change the reference to a scientific and engineering report entitled “The Flood Insurance Study for the Town of Simsbury, Conn. Dated June, 1976” to “The Flood Insurance Study for Hartford County, Connecticut (All Jurisdictions) dated September 26, 2008.” The amendment shall become effective twenty-one (21) days after publication of this notice.
