    Foraging the Farmington

    June 5th, "Foraging the Farmington" with Russ Cohen, Fisher Meadows, Avon, CT, 6 to 8 pm: Russ Cohen will lead a riverside walk in search of wild edibles on Thursday June 5th. There are about 150 wild, edible plants growing in New England. A few of the edibles we might encounter during this walk include White Oak Acorns, Burdock, Black Elderberry and Jewel Weed.
