Looking for the perfect graduate or teacher gift?  Consider purchasing a package of note cards designed by Christine Pappalardo Greif for Avon Dollars for Scholars.  The note cards are available at two retail locations in Avon – The Secret Garden and The Perfect Toy and they are also available from Board Member Cindy Hopper by calling her at 673-2278.  Christine Pappalardo Greif is an Avon High School Class of 1987 graduate and currently lives in Avon.  Eleven years ago Christine was hit by a drunk driver leaving her with limited ability to walk, eat, speak or otherwise engage in normal activity. Even though she has limited use of only one hand, Christine's bright spirit and joy for life comes shining through in vivid colors of the cards titled, “Climb the Tree of Knowledge & Follow Your Dreams”.  A package of five note cards is $20.  Avon Dollars for Scholars has established a scholarship to honor Christine for her gift of art.  All proceeds benefit this named scholarship which is presented at Avon High School’s Awards Night in June.
