     I'm looking forward to voting for all the candidates that are anti big box.  Hampton, Glassman, Romano, Cmbs,Elliott, Napolitano, Vaughn, McCann, Mead, Meyer and Needham.

    Hi Mimi,

    Thanks for the info. I took a closer look at the sample ballot and noticed some of the names you mentioned are in the "Simsbury Citizen First" Party. What exactly is that? Here in Barkhamsted we have Republican, Democratic and Independent.

    Oops, sorry I didn't get back sooner.  Simsbury Citizens First is a group totally against Big Box.  They're our *Independent* group, if you will.  It's going to be an interesting election, I'm anxiously lawaiting the outcome tomorrow..

    Election Results have been posted on the Secretary of State website. http://www.sots.ct.gov/ElectionsServices/election_results/ElectionResults.htm  According to this PDF file http://www.sots.ct.gov/ElectionsServices/election_results/2007_Nov_Election/topoffice2007.pdf 

    Republican incumbent Thomas Vincent was unseated by Mary Glassman. Glassman received 3771 votes, Vincent 2708 and Simsbury Citizens First candidate John Romano received 1923 votes.
