    Moose Sighting

On May 17th at about 9:00 a.m., I was working on my computer when my dog started barking aggresively and charged out the door. I called him back and ran to the door to see what he was barking at. To my surprise Surprise, there was a hugh moose standing in my backyard. I was able to capture about 30 seconds of video as he wondered off.  Any other sightings?

    Re: Moose Sighting - Hotline

I was at the Barkhamsted Town Hall yesterday renewing my dog's license and noticed a flyer posted by the Connecticut DEP. The Connecticut Wildlife Division has established a 24hr. moose sighting hotline. The Wildlife division is requesting anyone who spots a moose to call them immediately. They have established a program to tag and fit the moose with GPS collars so that they can be monitored and tracked. The phone number is 860-798-7504.
