    Flushing Water Mains

    FLUSHING WATER MAINS IN THE WEST AVON AREA
    October 6 - 10

    The AVON WATER COMPANY will be flushing water mains in the West Avon Area starting Monday, October 6th and continuing through Friday, October 10th.  The schedule of areas affected will be:

    Monday: The area south of Blueberry Lane/Sunnyridge; west of Stagecoach Rd/Woodhaven Dr; north of Farmington Woods complex and north along Lovely Street to Blueberry Lane and all connecting streets. Also #9 - #68 Byron Dr, #1 - #28 Cottonwood Dr, #1 - #9 Redwood Lane, and #1 - #23 Madison Lane in Farmington Woods.

    Tuesday:        Lovely St. from Midlands Dr. to Delbon Lane, Lakeview Assoc., Bridgewater Estates, Northgate, Deer Run, Northington Dr., Westmont and all connecting streets.

    Wednesday: The area north of Blueberry Dr/Sunnyridge; all streets east of Lovely St.; the areas of Juniper Dr, Parkview Dr, Woodmont, Stagecoach Rd, Avalon Dr, Meadowridge, Country Club Rd, Hastings Turn, Old Mill La, Carriage Dr. and other streets associated with those areas.

    Thursday:       Stagecoach Rd, Woodhaven Dr, Rockledge Dr, Brookridge Dr, Coldspring Rd, Avonridge, Country Club Rd, West Avon Rd, Highgate Drive and all connecting roads. 

    Friday: East of Woodhaven Dr, south of Country Club Rd, west of rails-to-trails path.  This includes the High School, Middle School, Cotswold Way area and roads east and west of West Avon Road.

    The Company recommends that water be drawn for drinking prior to 7:30 A.M. and that customers refrain from doing laundry, as there may be some discoloration of water.  All customers may experience lower pressures and/or pressure surges, periodic loss of water, and/or discolored water in all areas throughout the flushing period.
