Performing Arts Center Board

Based on a recommendation of the Simsbury Performing Arts Center Task Force, the Board of Selectmen has recently adopted a resolution creating a seven member board entitled "Simsbury Performing Arts Center Board." The purpose of this board is to set policies and annual objectives, plan future growth, motivate the management to meet the objectives established and to report annually on the performance of the Performing Arts Center.  The membership of the Performing Arts Center Board will be appointed by the Board of Selectmen and members will serve for two year terms.

Any resident with an interest in serving on this Board is asked to submit a letter outlining their interest to the First Selectman's Office.  We request that all letters of interest be submitted no later than April 11, 2008.  Please call 658-3230 with any questions.
