Here Kitty, Kitty Email Hoax

There is an email circulating with the title "Here Kitty, Kitty" that claims photos of a mountain lion looking through a glass door were taken recently in Simsbury. It turns out that the photos were taken in 2004 by Dr. Dave Rogers at his home in Wyoming.

Here is a copy of the email.

Recent pictures taken in Simsbury

Thank Goodness for the plate glass in the door! Wouldn't this mess up your whole night if you were to take out the trash at the wrong time? These pictures are from  Simsbury, CT. The pictures were taken standing in the kitchen facing the patio deck. The critter was watching the kids playing on the kitchen floor!

This maybe a hoax, but there have been legitimate sightings of mountain lions in the state. I have seen what I believe to be mountain lion tracks in Peoples State Forest in Barkhamsted.
